Noah's Ark Zoo Farm

Last Friday, our sweet friend Cathy took us to a place just outside of Bristol. It's was a zoo, farm, and playground all wrapped up in one. The boys absolutely loved it. I loved it. It was really great.

This is Elliot up on a big ark that the kids could climb around on.

Cathy helping Hudson feed a lamb.
Hudson on a zip line. I'm pretty sure this was Hud's favorite part.
This was super high in the air. I was proud of Hudson for making it across, even if he did crawl instead of walk. Elliot decided it was a little to much for him and turned around.
I should have taken a picture so you could see the whole slide, but this was a HUGE, twisty, tunnel slide. The boys had a really good time sliding.
Some funny looking hens and a big rooster.
Camels are just so weird. I think this one was posing.

This wasn't real, but the boys had a great time "milking the cow."
Nate's got the one finger pet going on.
This was the biggest rhino-rhinoceros (as Nathanael calls them) I've ever seen.
Nate catching a snooze. He completely missed the lions and tigers. Don't tell him though because that's what he kept asking for all day.
The handler fed the lion so we could seem him up close.
I don't think the tiger liked us much. He was resting when we came up to the fence, but he got up, growled at us and walked away.
Hudson loved these monkeys. They were really fun. And the baby had to be really new. He was super tiny. It looked like the older brother was trying to get in the mix and mess with the baby, but the mama did a good job protecting the little guy.

Cathy got us all ice cream before we went home. Notice Elliot's face is not only covered in ice cream, but bloody scratches as well. Let's just say he didn't fair as well as Hudson on the zip line, and his flying bird dismount really banged up his face.
