Aunt Ginger's House

While Mark was gone, the boys and I went to my Aunt Ginger and Uncle Steve's house for a few days. The boys love it there. They rode on a tractor with Uncle Steve and played with my cousin's boys, Cutter and Colter. They know nothing about feeding cows, but they really enjoy helping! Ginger had the electric trains up and running. The boys REALLY loved this. A wonderful way to spend our time waiting for Daddy to come home!

Mark's trip to Bristol

Mark was able to take a trip to England in early December to visit the University of Bristol for consideration of further studies. Unfortunately I didn't get to go, but here are a few highlights of his trip.

Note worthy because this is where Mark would be if he were to get accepted there.

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving this year we started something new, a Thanksgiving Tree. Every day from Nov. 1st to Thanksgiving day the boys put a new leaf up with something they are thankful for written on it. It was fun to see the things they were thankful for and a good reminder for all of us of how thankful we should be for everything. I love Thanksgiving and it made it last all month instead of just one day! A special tradition I think we will enjoy for years to come.

Some good friends from church came over to spend Thanksgiving day with us. Paul and Nina and their twins, Ryan and Lauren. We shared some great food, edifying conversation and wonderful fellowship. It was a really good time and are so thankful for their friendship.

Family Pics

A friend of ours from church started up a photography business and took our pictures at Thanksgiving. She does a wonderful job so if your looking for a good photographer in the DFW area, let me know and I'll pass her info along!

Hudson's 4!

We went to Wichita Falls in early November to celebrate Hudson's birthday. I really can't believe he's already 4. Man, the time flies by so fast! He's all about pirates so we decided to have a pirate party. Nannie and Granddad, Erin, Aaron and Owen and some other friends came for the party. Oma made the cake, and did a great job I might add! Grandpa and Carmen were there from Austin for the weekend too. We had a great time. Even had the chance to go to an air show!

Since I'm not as great as Oma when it comes to decorating cakes, we made a big "H" cake with M&Ms on the real day to celebrate at home.

Mark's grandfather passed away in October.
This is a picture of them when Mark was little.
He will be greatly missed.

Little Nathanael

I had to get this one in to show you how he sucks his 1st 2 fingers and holds them in with the other hand.

Silly, Silly Elliot

Incase you can't understand what's being said,
Mark is trying to get Elliot to say, "I am raw energy!"

Some more brother pictures...

Nathanael and I took a quick trip to OKC in late September for a wedding and got to stay with my friend Dara and her little boy Evan. We had a really good time catching up.

A special surprise... at the wedding I was able to see our dear friends, Mike and Samantha. It was a real treat to see them.

Hudson and I both got glasses in September.
You'll see later that Mark was just a couple of months to follow suit.
Who knew we'd all go blind together?!
