The Ranch Roundup has been around for as long as I can remember. I remember going lots of times growing up. It was brutally hot this year, but thankfully they had it at the Wichita Falls event center this year so we decided we'd take everyone and go.
The Ranch Roundup had kids' activities we went to check out early in the day before the evening event. They boys had a great time. They all got a free cowboy hat. I think they probably would have been happy with just the hat!
Hudson made a rope and then Oma taught him how to use it to lasso things, like his brothers. He had a really good time, but the brothers, not so much. :)
Free hotdogs and chips. Right up our alley!
Hudson had a great time with the petting zoo. He liked catching the rabbits and feeding the other animals.

The Ranch Round-up is a competition between different ranchers around the area. They participate in different events that would be typical on a normal day at the ranch.
