Royal Wedding

We don't have a television so it wasn't an option for us to watch the wedding at home. We debated about whether or not we cared to see it at all, but then decided since we were here in England we ought to show a little support for the royal family.

A local mall was going to be showing it on a big screen so we went up there to watch. I think the boys were confused. They must have thought we were actually going to see something, not watch it. When we sat down and appeared to be settling in for a bit, Elliot looked at the screen and started asking questions. When he realized we were there to watch what was happening on the screen, he looked at me and said, "I don't want to watch this movie!" Thankfully there was a McDonald's there, and Mark was able to appease everyone with cokes and French fries.

McDonald's got us primed for some good American eats, so we decided to partake of some yummy hotdogs and hamburgers at a nearby T.G.I. Friday's. There we watched the fly over at Buckingham Palace. T.G.I.Friday's was celebrating of course and our waiter made balloon swords for the boys.

The only picture I took to document the whole event was this one. Nate had already managed to pop his sword and the other 2 had played so rough with them they lost some air and got all misshaped. Swords became astronaut helmets.
