We went to Mainstay Farm a couple of weeks ago for their homeschool day. It was awesome. The boys LOVED it. And I did too. It was a little much by myself with all 4 at a place like that - hayride, bathroom trips, hill slide - not sure how to be at the top and bottom at the same time, ginormous tree house... thankfully it was homeschool day and I prayed everyone had too many children and stuff of their own to want to run off with any of mine! ;)
The boys were great though, minus George at the end, so it was well worth the effort!
This thing was FUN!!
We saw LOTS of really cool pumpkins.
They had a BIG wooden maze. I was a little nervous sending them in by themselves because I couldn't see them (they were too short!) once they got away from the look-out stand. I made Hudson promise to keep them all together. I think God mercifully lead them down the right path because they made it out in an impressive time! They got a little over confident the 2nd time, and I was just leaving my stroller to come in to find them when they finally made their way out.
I always think these signs are so funny when a bunch of non-readers are the main audience.
This big brother loves him some Georgey.
Elliot took this picture to document my presence.
Pretty cool to be able to write on a car.
Ready, set, go! They couldn't get in the dirt fast enough.
This was the boys' favorite spot. All this great stuff to do and they wanted to play in a pile of dirt!
Roasted some "smarshmellows" as Nathanael calls them.
Playing in the hay.
Group shot with everyone looking and smiling at the same time? Fat chance. Nate's face says perfectly how I felt after this outing by myself with the 4 of them!
Poor Georgey finally had enough.
